About these terms

These terms cover your use of this website and reservations made through it. They do not cover any other service we provide, such as chimney sweeping, servicing or installation, which is agreed separately.

This is an informational site. Browsing products and submitting an enquiry does not create a contract or purchase.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you make a reservation applies.

Prices, accuracy and E&OE

Product prices, descriptions and specifications are given in good faith and are indicative only. We cannot guarantee their accuracy, and prices are subject to confirmation before any sale. Errors and omissions excepted (E&OE).

Used and ex-display stock

Items are sold as described and as seen, so please inspect an item before you agree to buy it. Photographs are a guide, and marks or signs of wear may not be visible in them. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Reservations

Reserving a product through this website is a request to hold it for you. It is not a sale, and no payment is taken online.

Our products are on display in the showroom and may be sold through other means, so a reservation is not confirmed until it has been agreed with Ridgeway Stoves. We aim to contact you within 24 hours.

We may decline or cancel a reservation, for example if the product has already been sold or a listing contains an error, and will let you know if we do. You may cancel a reservation at any time by contacting us.

If an item has already been reserved or sold, we can order in new stock for you. Please get in touch to arrange this.

Collection only

All products are available for collection only from our showroom at Unit 7, Wroughton Business Park, Swindon Road, Wroughton, Swindon SN4 9BH. We do not deliver or post goods. Please arrange collection with us in advance, and bring suitable means of transporting the item.

Installation and safety

Goods are supplied for collection only and are not installed by us under these terms. Stoves and other appliances must be installed by a competent, HETAS-registered installer in line with Building Regulations and the manufacturer’s instructions, and a carbon monoxide alarm must be fitted. We accept no responsibility for an appliance that is installed or used incorrectly.

We do not guarantee that this website will always be available or free of errors.

When you make a reservation we collect your name, phone number and email address so that we can deal with it. See our privacy policy for how we use and protect your information.
